Wild Ontario
February 17th – April 29th, Butterfly Conservatory
This month is your last chance to experience the Butterfly Conservatory’s Wild Ontario exhibit, which highlights Ontario’s incredible biodiversity and features a variety of species both common and at risk in our communities. This is a great chance for people of all ages to learn about mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and invertebrate and see a barn owl, porcupine, spotted turtle, tree frog, salamander, garter snake, and more.
Along with a live animal exhibit, Wild Ontario features engaging panel displays about Ontario’s ecosystems and what we can all do to assist the species in our communities.
Mad Science Series: Tantalizing Taste
April 19th, Niagara Falls History Museum
Discover and explore the senses of taste and smell with the Mad Science Tantalizing Taste event coming to the Niagara Falls History Museum on April 19th. Each participant will receive a taste kit and find out whether or not they’re a super taster or just an ordinary human. Space is limited to 25 participants and the recommended age is 6-12!
Earth Day in the Glen
April 22nd, Niagara Glen
Give back to the community this Earth Day and join in on the free clean-up event happening in the Niagara Glen. Spend the day exploring the Niagara River Corridor while also helping to create a greener, healthier Niagara. The day will start with a guided tour through pristine Carolinian forest, followed by a complimentary lunch and team clean-up in the Niagara Glen.
The event will be taking place from 11am-1pm and each participant will receive a reusable water bottle to keep!

April 28th, Seneca Queen Theatre
Experience a sing-along concert for the entire family with Sharon and Bram performing at the Seneca Queen Theatre on April 28th. Singing favourites like “Five Little Monkeys” and “Skinnamarink”, the show will be a one-of-a-kind event filled with laughter and music.
